What I Made for Dinner: June 4, 2010

Pasta with roasted cauliflower, asparagus, and hazelnuts.

It was a glorious day spent at the pool with the children and the attendant nutritional horrors.  (Cheez-its and McDonald's in our case; what does everyone else like for pool food?)

Redeemed the tiniest bit with this dinner.

  1. My Mom took cheese balls - you know, the ones in the chip aisle with the yummy cheese powder on them? - when we went to the pool in Topeka and I ALWAYS think of days by the pool when I see them at the store!

  2. My kids like to take chinese rice noodles to the pool - like the ones you put in egg drop soup.
