Doesn't that simple sauce on Smitten Kitchen's website look good? I want to try it.
I've made it! It's really a classic; I have an oldish Williams-Sonoma cookbook that includes the same recipe for use with fresh summer tomatoes. It is delicious with either fresh or canned.
